Welcome to Tone Town, a humble home studio tucked in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, CA, helmed by Curtis Kelley and Devin Runco. Host to high ceilings, an ever growing trove of vintage instruments and recording equipment, and a very cozy vibe, there's always something special being made. Offering absolutely spanking Sample Packs, Remote/ In Person Drum Recording and Music Production from Curtis Kelley, as well as Guitar, Mixing, Front of House, and Playback from Devin Runco, it's a one stop shop for flavor. 

Tone Town has hosted some amazing humans and music since it started in 2020. Amoung the many are the X Ambassadors, Jawny, bülow, Imad Royal, Billy Cox of the Band of Gypsys,  Eric Krasno, Robert "Sput" Seawright, Nate Werth, Andy Frasco and many more. 

Curtis Kelley

Curtis Kelley is a profession Drummer, Singer and Producer living in Los Angeles, California. Originally from Western , MA, Curtis attended Berklee College of Music from 2012-2016 and moved to LA in 2018. Since then, Curtis has Performed, Recorded and Teched with artists such as Jawny, Allen Stone, Terrace Martin, Tal Wilkenfeld, Omase Keith, Brandon "B.A.M." Hodge, Toto (Drum tech for Sput Seawright 2020), Billy Cox (The Band of Gypsys), Michael Hampton (of Parliament Funkadelic), John Vincent III, Son Little, Eric Krasno, Otis McDonald, Will Blades and many more. Curtis has produced and written with artists such as james the eighth and MAUMAUMAU, and continues to produce from his home studio, affectionately known as Tone Town. 

 

Devin Runco

Devin Runco is a professional Live and Studio Sound Engineer, Guitar Player, and Producer living in Los Angeles, CA. Born in Sterling, VA, Devin has been a touring Front of House engineer since 2013 for artists such as Rufus Wainwright, Jawny, Cory Wong, Tauk, Eric Krasno and many more. In 2020 Devin moved to LA and joined Curtis Kelley to start Tone Town where he’s developed skills designing Studios, Playback Rigs, integrating midi via Ableton Live, and of course honing in exceptional tones both on stage and in the studio.
